Explained: The Process After You Buy a Ticket From Football Ticket Net

On SeatPick, we almost always discuss the process of choosing a ticket for a major sports or music event from a myriad of providers onsite.

However, we rarely post about the experience once you have purchased your tickets. This blog aims to rectify that and we will use a real-world example from one of the biggest matches of the 2024/2025 season.

With Tottenham and Manchester United fans on staff at SeatPick, we purchased tickets to the Europa League final in Bilbao from Football Ticket Net.

For this specific fixture, Football Ticket Net provided the cheapest tickets. Using the interactive map on SeatPick for the Europa League final, we were also able to specify the area we would be sitting in. E.g. whether Spurs, Manchester United or neutral end…

Immediately After Buying Spurs vs Manchester United Tickets

Within a few minutes of purchasing the tickets from Football Ticket Net, we received a confirmation email.

Included in this email was the order number and a password to login to Football Ticket Net to track the order.

There was also key details and information about the tickets to put us at ease that there would be no problem with the seats come matchday.

Also sent was a video laying out what to expect next from Football Ticket Net and a support email to contact in case of any major issues.

All this meant that we were immediately put at ease regarding this purchase and travel arrangements to the San Mames could be made accordingly with no worries about the tickets arriving.

We were also safe in the knowledge that the tickets were also covered by Football Ticket Net’s 100% money-back guarantee too.

Delivery of the Mobile Tickets for the Europa League Final

Six days before the Europa League final we received the tickets from Football Ticket Net. This came with a full explanation how to go about getting them on our phone for the match itself.

The tickets themselves were delivered via the UEFA Mobile tickets app – with download options for the application provided for both Android and iPhone.

Once the UEFA Mobile tickets application was downloaded, we informed Football Ticket Net of the email address used on the app.

The process was clear and transparent and again we were put at ease that there would be no hiccups on matchday.

The Final Confirmation Email From Football Ticket Net

A further three days later, and just two days before the Europa League final, another email came from Football Ticket Net.

This email confirmed that the mobile tickets had been transferred. This involved another action on our part to confirm that the tickets had indeed arrived on the UEFA Mobile tickets app.

A number of safeguards were also put in place to ensure there would be no hiccups or problems on the day of the final. This included a wide range of contact options and a way to get in touch with the provider via phone, email and WhatsApp.

Ultimately, we travelled to Bilbao safe in the knowledge that our names and passport numbers were on the tickets contained in the UEFA Mobile Tickets application.

On the day itself, the ticket process was as simple as you would imagine.

On arrival at the San Mames stadium, the UEFA application was scanned and there were no problems encountered.

A turgid yet tense and thrilling final awaited with a superb atmosphere in Athletic Bilbao‘s stadium. Tottenham bagged their first trophy in 17 years and first European one for 41 years.

A hugely memorable game was attended and the process for buying tickets could not have been much simpler thanks to SeatPick and Football Ticket Net.
