Tottenham Hotspur have started the 2023/24 season in quite remarkable fashion.
Spurs recorded four wins and two draws from their opening six games of the league campaign, scoring 15 goals in the process.
Ahead of a crucial North London derby at the Emirates Stadium, Tottenham sat level on points with local foes Arsenal as both teams trailed reigning champions and league leaders Manchester City by 3 points.
In their first home game of the season, the Lilywhites earned a 2-0 win over Manchester United. A convincing victory at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium gave manager Ange Postecoglou the perfect start to his tenure in the English capital.
In their next home outing against Sheffield United, Spurs displayed fantastic character to emerge triumphant despite trailing in the dying embers of the game.
The Blades were one goal to the good as late as the 97th minute but the home side basked in a superb come-from-behind victory, courtesy of goalscorers Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski.
There was a rocking atmosphere at the full-time whistle and Spurs will be eager to carry this momentum into their forthcoming clashes of major significance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Here are some of the best Tottenham home games to look out for in the coming months:
1. Tottenham Hotspur vs Liverpool – 30th September 2023
After five rounds in the 2023/24 season, neither Tottenham nor Liverpool had tasted defeat in the Premier League.
Jürgen Klopp’s charges recently earned away victories at Newcastle United and Wolves. Liverpool had earlier settled for a 1-1 draw at Chelsea on the opening weekend of the league campaign.
The Reds’ trip to the capital should produce an exciting battle, between two teams that will be looking to improve on a below-par 2022/23 campaign.
Spurs finished in 8th place last term, completely missing out on European football for the current season, while Liverpool ended 5th and failed to qualify for the UEFA Champions League for the first time since 2016.
In this fixture last season, Mohamed Salah scored twice for the visitors before Harry Kane pulled one goal back for the hosts. Ultimately, a 2-1 win saw the Reds leave north London with all 3 points.
Looking back at other past occurrences of this fixture, Spurs and Liverpool played out a 2-2 draw in December 2021. Kane and Heung-min Son were on the scoresheet for the home side, with Diogo Jota and Andy Robertson also finding the net.
These teams also contested the Champions League final in 2019. Salah opened the scoring as Liverpool went on to win by two goals to nil at Wanda Metropolitano and clinched the top European prize in club football for a sixth time.

2. Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea – 6th November 2023
This London derby is expected to be an explosive affair, not unlike many contests between Tottenham and Chelsea down the years.
Last term was forgetful for the Lilywhites as well as for the Blues, as both clubs missed out on qualification for European football.
Subsequently, Spurs and Chelsea each started the current season with new head coaches at the helm. Postecoglou and his opposite number, ex-Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino, will both be firmly focused on delivering positive results in the league and ultimately returning their current teams to Europe beyond this campaign.
When these teams met in this fixture in February 2023, Harry Kane scored to seal a 2-0 win for the home side. As one of several below-par results for Chelsea in 2022/23, it culminated in the worst Premier League campaign to date for the club based at Stamford Bridge.
Going back a few years, Tottenham collected multiple wins over the Blues during Pochettino’s time in charge of the Lilywhites. Notably, on New Year’s Day 2015, this fixture produced an eight-goal thriller as Spurs beat Chelsea by five goals to three.
As Pochettino prepares to face his former team, it remains to be seen how his Chelsea team fare against this reinvigorated Spurs outfit.

3. Tottenham Hotspur vs West Ham United – 5th December 2023
The following month, Spurs have another significant London derby to look forward to as West Ham United prepare to make the short journey to the north of the capital in early December.
As we begin to approach the midseason run-in around the time of this intra-city battle, expect to see Premier League action coming thick and fast heading towards the New Year.
Spurs and the Hammers have previously met more than 215 times, thus there is no shortage of history in this fixture.
In recent years, Tottenham have mostly gotten the better of West Ham in this fixture. Last season, Spurs were 2-0 winners over their city rivals with Heung-min Son on the scoresheet versus the Irons.
In 2019/20, the last full season pre-Covid, Michail Antonio netted the solitary goal of the game as West Ham escaped Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with 3 points for just the second time since the turn of the century.
After hosting West Ham, Spurs are then scheduled to host Newcastle United just four days later. In this fixture last season, the visiting Magpies won by two goals to one.
At SeatPick, Tottenham Hotspur vs West Ham United tickets start from £72. Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle United tickets are available for similar prices, starting from £73 through our platform.
Ange Postecoglou and James Maddison are the 4th Spurs manager/player duo to win Premier League awards in the same month:

4. Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City – 20th April 2024
Into the business end of the 2023/24 season, both of the two projected chief title contenders are set to pay a visit to Tottenham.
Despite the unquestionable superiority of Manchester City in recent years, in terms of silverware and a sustained threat in Europe, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has proven a tough place to travel for Pep Guardiola’s men.
The current Premier League holders have lost at this venue in each of the last four Premier League seasons, by an aggregate six goals to zero. Heung-min Son, Spurs’ captain and talisman, has been responsible for half of those goals.
In February 2023, Harry Kane scored the only goal of the game as Spurs fended off the champions-elect yet again.
This fixture comes late into the season and could prove absolutely vital for both teams involved.
Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City tickets start from £120 at SeatPick.

5. Tottenham Hotspur vs Arsenal – 27th April 2024
Pencilled in for just one week after Tottenham’s massive encounter with Man City, this North London derby will likely take place in the final few weeks of the 2023/24 season. As such, the result of this huge clash could prove hugely significant and decisive in both teams’ campaigns.
This is undoubtedly the most-anticipated fixture for both Spurs and Arsenal. When the Premier League fixtures are released during pre-season, both sets of fans immediately look out for the dates of the North London derby.
With 200+ previous meetings behind them, these bitter rivals need absolutely no introduction to one another. They first shared a pitch more than 125 years ago and there has been no love lost between them ever since.
Martin Ødegaard put in a splendid performance during his team’s last trip to Tottenham in January 2023. The Arsenal skipper scored in a 2-0 victory for the Gunners.
In 2021/22, Kane and Son both found the net as Spurs earned a thrilling 3-0 win over their classic foes.
Under Mauricio Pochettino, the Lilywhites recorded wins in this fixture in back-to-back league seasons (2016/17 & 2017/18). This was just the third time Spurs achieved this feat in the Premier League era.
