It's been more than 125 years since these local rivals shared a football pitch for the first time. Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal first met in 1896 but they didn't contest a fixture in the Football League until December 1909. Only four years later, when Arsenal moved to Highbury, did the rivalry between these sides truly kick off. Highbury is located less than five miles away from the site of White Hart Lane.
