Leicester City 1-2 Wycombe Wanderers 2000/01

The FA Cup is all about giant-killing exploits, and in 2000/01, Wycombe Wanderers, who were then in the third tier of the English football pyramid, caused a massive upset when they defeated Premier League side Leicester City.

Wycombe were hit by a wave of injuries and had to bring in new players who were not cup-tied, and a relative unknown, Roy Essandoh, then became a club legend when he came on as a sub to score the winner in this dramatic quarter final encounter.

Luton 3-2 West Ham 1993/94

Luton Town were struggling in the top tier when they took on West Ham in this memorable quarter-final clash at Kenilworth Road. David Pleat's side were ahead, then behind before a goal from youngster Scott Oakes won it for the home side with his hat-trick goal.

This came after the first fixture had finished in a drab goalless draw. Luton would go on to lose to Chelsea in the semi-final, but it's a game that lives long in the memory for Hatters fans.
