What to Expect from an A$AP Rocky Concert?

An A$AP Rocky show is as much a visual spectacle as it is a rap concert. Expect elaborate stage production, alter-ego costume changes, and a setlist that swings between woozy, psychedelic cuts and stadium-sized anthems.

A$AP Rocky Biography

A$AP Rocky was born Rakim Athelaston Mayers on October 3, 1988, in Harlem, New York, and named after rap legend Rakim. He rose to prominence as part of the A$AP Mob collective, from which he took his stage name. His 2011 mixtape Live.Love.A$AP introduced the world to cloud rap through viral singles like "Peso" and "Purple Swag," and it landed him a major deal with Polo Grounds Music and RCA Records. His breakout single "Fuckin' Problems," featuring Drake, 2 Chainz, and Kendrick Lamar, pushed him into the mainstream. Beyond music, Rocky founded the creative agency and label AWGE in 2014 and has become a genuine fashion tastemaker. He shares a long-term relationship and family with Barbadian singer Rihanna.

A$AP Rocky Albums & Projects

His 2013 debut studio album, Long.Live.A$AP, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. The follow-up, At.Long.Last.A$AP (2015), also topped the chart and leaned into more experimental, psychedelic territory. Testing (2018) landed in the Billboard 200's top five and pushed his sound further into abstract production. After nearly eight years away from full-length releases, his fourth studio album, Don't Be Dumb, arrived in 2026 and debuted at number one, marking a major comeback.

A$AP Rocky's Most Popular Songs and Setlist Selections

Fans can expect a run through career-defining hits like "Fuckin' Problems," "Goldie," "Praise the Lord (Da Shine)" with Skepta, and "A$AP Forever" featuring Moby. "L$D" and "Everyday," with Rod Stewart, Miguel, and Mark Ronson, remain setlist staples too. More recent cuts like "Tailor Swif" and "Highjack" have found their way into his live rotation as well.

Previous Tours and Festival Appearances

Rocky's first major headline run was the Long Live ASAP Tour in 2013, a 40-date trek supported by ScHoolboy Q, Danny Brown, and his A$AP Mob crew. He's also long been a festival mainstay, with a memorable 2016 Coachella set that included a surprise appearance from Kanye West. His Injured Generation Tour followed in 2019. After years of anticipation, he returned to headlining arenas with the Don't Be Dumb World Tour, which kicked off in 2026 at Chicago's United Center and included a headline slot at Governors Ball in New York, cementing his status as one of hip-hop's most enduring live draws alongside peers like Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
