2022 saw an aging Croatian national football team once again go deep into the knockout stage, but lost to Argentina in the semi-finals before securing a third-place finish against Morocco.

European Championship Form

In terms of Croatia's form in the UEFA European Championship tournament, in 1996, they made it to the quarter-finals in England and did so again in 2008, and they have successfully qualified for every Euro since 2004.
