Jason Aldean Biography

Jason Aldine Williams, aka Jason Aldean, was born in Macon, Georgia, in February 1977, and he started to master the guitar from a very early age.

Dropped By Multiple Record Labels

He played with his band after high school and was twice signed by record labels, only to be subsequently dropped.

In 2005, Jason Aldean released his debut studio album, a self-titled release, on Broken Bow Records, and it was an instant success, selling over one and a half million copies in the United States alone and rising up both the US Country Music Charts and the mainstream US Billboard Albums Chart.

Immediate Success

Singles from the album also charted, with Hicktown, Why and Amarillo Sky performing well. His second album, Relentless, rose to the top of the US Country Music charts and up to number four on the Billboard mainstream charts.

My Kinda Party

In 2010 Jason Aldean hit new heights with his fourth studio album, My Kinda Party, which sold over four million copies in the United States and cemented his standing in the country music genre.

Among the hit singles from this release include Dirt Road Anthem, Tattoos on This Town and Take a Little Ride. His next four albums would all go on to become number-one hits on the US Billboard Albums chart, which is quite a feat.

Night Train (2012), Old Boots, New Dirt (2014), They Don't Know (2016), and Rearview Town (2018) all hit those heights, with the biggest singles from these albums being Night Train, Burnin' It Down, You Make it Easy and Drowns the Whiskey (with Miranda Lambert).
