As one of the biggest and most modern stadiums in the English Premier League, Tottenham hosts upwards of 60,000 spectators for every home game, and while that’s a tidy number, it’s still some way below the demand for each and every game they take part in.

Tottenham vs Wolves History
Tottenham and Wolves have played each other over 100 times, which is pretty impressive given the lengthy breaks that have occurred when the visitors have not been in the English top tier.
A number of top stars have lined up for both teams, and these include Irish international Robbie Keane, his fellow countryman Matt Doherty, Steve Sedgley, Paul Stewart, Jamie O’Hara, Stefan Iversen, Dean Richards, Andy Sinton, Allan Nielsen, while both Glenn Hoddle and Nuno Santos have managed both clubs.
Tottenham vs Wolves Head to Head
Of late, Wolves have experienced a strong run of good form when taking on Tottenham in North London.
In December 2018, Harry Kane gave Spurs the lead, only for Nuno Santos’s side to roar back late with Willy Boly, Raul Jimenez, and Helder Costa to all score in a 3-1 at Wembley Stadium, which was at the time an interim home for Tottenham.
A season later, in March 2020, Spurs once again took the lead, this time through Dutch forward Steven Bergwijn, before Matt Doherty (who subsequently moved to Tottenham) leveled, and Serge Aurier gave the home side the lead going into the break.
In the second half, Diogo Jota and Raul Jimenez gave Wolves another win, this time in their new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium home.
By February 2022, Nuno Santos had already been fired by Tottenham, who he joined from Wolves, but this didn’t prevent Tottenham once again surrendering home advantage to the visitors, with Bruno Lage’s side winning 2-0 through goals from Raul Jimenez (again) and Leander Dendoncker doing the damage.
In 2022/23, Tottenham did manage to overcome Wolves, with Harry Kane scoring the only goal of the game midway through the second half.
In the first Premier League match between the two sides, in December 2003, Tottenham had no such issues seeing off the side from the Black Country, with Robbie Keane scoring a hat-trick (against his former club) and Fredric Kanoute and Stephane Dalmat also netting in a 5-2 thrashing with Paul Ince and Alex Rae responding for the visitors.
