How Much Does Taylor Swift Make Per Concert?

Taylor Swift’s phenomenal Eras Tour is set to come to an end later in 2024. The record-breaking pop superstar is currently touring Europe and filling stadiums everywhere she goes.

Her tour started in March 2023 and, nine months later, it already became the highest-grossing music tour ever, becoming the first to surpass $1 billion in revenue.

Swift’s 152nd and final concert of the tour is scheduled for Vancouver on December 8, 2024. She’s made a jaw-dropping sum of money, with Billboard reporting that Swift earns between $11M – $13M for each live performance.

Most of that money is earned through ticket sales, although it’s understood that each concert brings approximately $2 million in merchandise sales.

How Much Money Has Taylor Swift Made From the Eras Tour?

As per the reported figures, Taylor Swift will make around $1.8 billion from her 21-month world tour once December comes.

To put that number into context, she will have smashed Madonna’s record for the highest-grossing tour by a solo female artist. Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet Tour held the record for 15 years by grossing $400 million – but Swift is expected to more than quadruple that figure.

The Washington Post reported that Swift is taking home approximately 85% of all revenue generated by The Eras Tour.

Her concerts are benefiting the local economy in every city she visits, with many businesses such as hotels and restaurants, enjoying a significant spike in tourism. Plus, she’s also given sizeable donations to food banks in every city she has performed around the world.

She’s a superstar in a league of her own and this remarkably successful tour will further boost Taylor Swift’s net worth, which is currently believed to be $1.1 billion. The Eras Tour concert film and her record-breaking album sales suggest her music career is still on an upwards trajectory.

In April 2024, she released The Tortured Poets Department and has re-recorded four albums subtitled ‘Taylor’s Version’ in recent years following a dispute with her former record label, Big Machine Records.
