Following the release of the Premier League fixtures on Thursday, here at SeatPick we have analysed the most expensive ticket prices for the 2023/2024 season.
SeatPick analysed its network of more than 50 different ticket websites to find the average prices for each Premier League game for the 2023/24 season. SeatPick is the only ticket aggregator and search engine displaying real-time results from thousands of legitimate and 100% vetted ticket sellers.
We scanned over 200,000 Premier League tickets. It is worth bearing in mind that these 10 games listed below on the infographic may well change in the coming days and weeks. This is what our system generated from the opening few hours following the release of the matches.
Luton Town’s long-awaited return to the top flight of English football will be an expensive affair for the Hatters, with the newly promoted team being named the most expensive team to watch in the 2023/24 Premier League season.
Luton Town vs Arsenal on December 5, 2023, is by far the most expensive match of the season – fans will have to cash out £1939.07 to see their favourite teams play.
Watching Luton Town at Kenilworth Road will not be cheap!
Luton overall stands out in the rating as a team with the most expensive tickets: Kenilworth Road is by far the smallest stadium in the Premier League, with a famously tight away end, where visiting supporters have to go through a row of houses to enter.
This has led to Luton’s tickets being by far the most expensive, as they will literally be like gold dust this coming season.
The teams that appear most frequently in high-priced matches are Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Liverpool, suggesting that these are perhaps the most popular teams.
Manchester City, despite winning the treble, only appears once in the rating.
Will Liverpool, Chelsea or Arsenal have something to play for on the final day?
On fixture release day, we saw high demand for Liverpool’s final Premier League fixture of the season versus Wolves at Anfield. Despite finishing fifth last season, Liverpool fans are clearly hopeful for a successful end to the 2023/2024 season.
The two other final-day fixtures to see the most interest were Chelsea vs Bournemouth and Arsenal vs Everton.
Despite performing poorly last campaign, Chelsea fans are expecting an upturn in fortunes under Mauricio Pochettino.
