About Bayern Munich Tickets 2026/27

Bayern Munich is a football club based in Munich, Bavaria in Germany. The team plays its home games at the Allianz Arena, which opened its doors in 2005.

It's considered one of the most beautiful and well-designed stadiums in the world, with a luminous exterior and a capacity of more than 75,000 people, making it the second-largest stadium in Germany behind Borussia Dortmund’s Signal Iduna Park.

The iconic Allianz Arena is the first stadium in the world with a full colour changing exterior. It attracts a sell-out crowd for every home match, so Bayern tickets are often hard to come by. Prior to moving into the Allianz Arena, Bayern Munich played their home games at the Munich Olympic Stadium.

Bayern Munich History & Info

The club was founded in 1900, by a group of 11 players led by the famous Franz John. Later it would become one of the most valuable football clubs in the world, with a $5 billion valuation. The club is majority-owned by its members' association, FC Bayern München e.V., which holds 75% of FC Bayern München AG, the entity that runs the professional football operations. The remaining 25% is split equally between three corporate partners: adidas, Audi, and Allianz.

Bayern Munich is extremely popular worldwide, boasting more than 430,000 registered club members, which is the highest amongst all sports clubs worldwide.

Many superstars have donned the famous Bayern kit, including the likes of Franz Beckenbauer, Gerd Müller, Oliver Kahn, Philipp Lahm, Mark van Bommel, Bastian Schweinsteiger and many more. Currently, the team success can be attributed to players such as Harry Kane and Manuel Neuer.

Along the years there have been many great coaches that have taken Bayern Munich to greatness, including Pep Guardiola, Ottmar Hitzfeld and Udo Lattek. The current head coach is Vincent Kompany, who took charge in the lead-up to the 2024/25 season, following a rare trophyless campaign under Thomas Tuchel.

Thomas Müller holds the record for the most Bundesliga appearances in the club's history, having overtaken previous record holder Sepp Maier, while Gerd Müller holds the record of goals scored in the history of the league with 365.

Bayern Munich Stadium

The Allianz Arena has been the home of the Bavarian giants since 2005, when it replaced the Olympiastadion Munich as the club's home ground.

One of the most aesthetic venues in world football, the Allianz Arena can accommodate up to 75,024 spectators. The matchday experience is among the best in German football and even across Europe, making Bayern Munich matches a highly attractive prospect not only for supporters of the club but for many football fans in general.

Allianz Arena tickets can be purchased safely via SeatPick, ensuring a 100% money-back guarantee on every purchase made through our platform.
