The World Cup starts in 79 days and whilst there will be huge fanfare for the first-ever 48-team tournament, international football isn't always so popular.
This upcoming international break is a case in point. For many fans, obsessing over potential trophy wins, the European spots, or the perils of relegation, a few weeks away from the club game is not welcomed.
International managers are thinking differently. Specifically, those preparing their squads for the ultimate football showpiece tournament.
Thomas Tuchel, Carlo Ancelotti, Mauricio Pochettino and all the other coaches of the qualified sides, have some important tinkering to do with their squads, in what is their final get-together before the World Cup.
There are also no shortage of important international matches coming up in this break. Not least the World Cup play-offs as well as high profile friendlies like Mexico vs Portugal to re-open Estadio Azteca.
The Bargain International Friendlies
There are also a fair few international friendly matches that feature some of the finest players on the planet where the get-in-price is scandalously cheap.
Thomas Tuchel named a 35-man squad for two games against Uruguay and Japan. The majority of the established Three Lions stars are only likely to play the second game.
Nevertheless, whilst Tuchel tinkers with plenty of fringe players, you can watch the Three Lions at Wembley for super cheap.
The starting price for England vs Uruguay is just £30 and England vs Japan tickets are even cheaper at £22.
USA: Cheap Now. Expensive in June
Tickets to see Mauricio Pochettino's USA prepare for the World Cup against Belgium and Portugal are even cheaper.
Both friendlies take place in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium and feature top class opposition yet Atlanta hasn't fully got behind these games.
You can see the match against Belgium for just $9 and the encounter with Portugal for slightly more at $16.
Due to injury, Cristiano Ronaldo will not be playing for Portugal in this World Cup warm-up friendly. You can be sure if CR7 was involved the tickets would be ten times the starting price.
These prices are put in perspective by the USA's opening World Cup match vs Paraguay on the resale market currently selling for a starting price of over $1,000.
Norway, Scotland, Brazil & Mexico Also Feature In Bargain Matches
England and USA are not the only international sides that can be watched in the coming days for cheap.
Erling Haaland is in the Norway squad for matches against Netherlands (£64) and Switzerland (£37). The Manchester City star is likely to play some part in the match against the Swiss in Oslo.
Scotland also have two matches. The Tartan Army face Japan at Hampden Park with tickets starting from £45 on the resale market.
Their second game against Ivory Coast at Hill Dickinson Stadium, the home of Everton, has a get-in-price of £16.
Returning to the USA for more international friendly bargains, Brazil take on France at Gillette Stadium in Boston ($155) and then Croatia ($73) in Orlando.
And, finally, whilst Mexico's high-profile friendly with Portugal sees tickets start at $179. Their second game with Belgium at Soldier Field in Chicago is another bargain, at just $56.
