Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour has now reportedly grossed $945 million (£726m), making it the most successful rock tour of all time. They’ve already sold 8.8 million tickets after playing more than 150 shows.
The tour initially kicked off in March 2022 and recently became both the highest grossing and best-selling tour by a rock act, according to Billboard.
The Music of the Spheres World Tour climbed into top spot above Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, which grossed $939m (£721m) during its run from 2018-23. The top ten rock tours also include U2, the Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

1. Coldplay in Vienna
