Cristiano Ronaldo Tickets: Bargains Available To See Portugal In 2025

At the ripe old age of 40-years-old Cristiano Ronaldo continues to score goals for the Portugal national team.

Fresh from their Nations League triumph this past summer and the tragic death of Liverpool forward Diogo Jota, Portugal began their World Cup qualifying campaign with a 5-0 rout of Armenia on Saturday evening.

Portugal already look like one of the teams to fear at next summer’s World Cup with so much talent. But, it is Cristiano Ronaldo that remains the main man for the Seleção das Quinas.

Against Armenia, whilst the likes of Joao Felix and Joao Cancelo were on the scoresheet, it was Cristiano Ronaldo that stole the show. Ronaldo scored twice, the second a trademark belter from outside the box.

Cristiano Ronaldo: An International Goal Scoring Legend

Ronaldo has now scored 140 international goals for Portugal. The next best international goal scorer is Cristiano’s eternal rival, Argentina legend Leo Messi.

With the World Cup approaching, Ronaldo and Messi appear to be making their final international appearances on the road to the 2026 tournament.

Leo Messi notched twice in Argentina’s home win against Venezuela late last week and it would be no surprise to see both football icons bow out in America next summer.

As a result, the demand to see Messi and Ronaldo play for their countries in 2025 and 2026 is already hitting fever pitch.

Whilst Messi seems to be limiting his appearances in order to be fresh for the World Cup, with Argentina already qualified. Ronaldo still has work to do with Portugal and the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star is also eager to increase both his appearances and goals at international level.
