The first-ever Champions League Knockout Play-Off round has delivered some mouthwatering matches.

Ticket prices are a reflection of keen interest in some outstanding ties & there is a very short turnaround to the matches.

Thanks to SeatPick’s bespoke technology in aggregating tickets from hundreds of resale sites, we have crunched the numbers and can showcase both the most expensive and cheapest tickets to see the first ever knockout play-off round in the Champions League.

Everyone wants to see Real Madrid vs Manchester City at The Bernabeu

The most popular game by average price is the second leg between Real Madrid and Manchester City at the Bernaeu.

These two teams have made a habit of meeting in the Champions League with this the third consecutive annual meeting between Real Madrid and Manchester City.

Manchester City and Real Madrid are also, of course, the last two winners of the Champions League.

The average price for a ticket to see Real Madrid take on Manchester City at the Bernabeu currently stands at just over £600. Starting prices at the Bernabeu are £245.

Manchester City vs Real Madrid ticket prices are, as expected, also rising by the day. The average price to see Real Madrid at the Etihad is £371. City supporters will be hoping they can finish the job in the first leg.

Celtic fans desperate to see Bayern Munich pay a visit to Glasgow

Bayern Munich’s visit to Celtic has really captured the imagination in Scotland. Tickets to see Harry Kane and co. are sought after in the 60,000 Celtic Park capacity stadium.

Tickets to see Celtic vs Bayern Munich are over five times the starting price of Celtic’s match against Raith Rovers just days before.

Celtic fans may be better off trying to get tickets for the second leg at the Allianz Arena, at the stadium which will host the Champions League final, later in 2025.

Tickets for the second leg in Germany start at just under £100 whilst you won’t get into the first match at Celtic for less than £270.

Bargain Champions League knockout games

The cheapest knockout match of the 16 ties is AC Milan vs Feyenoord at the San Siro. Starting prices for this match are £40.

A trip to Milan for this match, plus flights from London, will still come in cheaper than any of the four individual matches from the Celtic vs Bayern Munich & Manchester City vs Real Madrid ties.

Other bargains include Monaco vs Benfica and Borussia Dortmund vs Sporting Lisbon, which both start at £53.
