Idris Elba: Arsenal
Idris Elba is regularly mistaken for a West Ham fan because he grew up in Hackney, but that's not the case. He's told That Peter Crouch Podcast he has "always been an Arsenal fan," and once said an Arsenal shirt "became sort of my superhero thing" after he was targeted by West Ham hooligans as a kid.

Tom Holland is a genuine, long-suffering Tottenham fan, once joking it's "probably one of the worst decisions I've ever made." He was filming Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey when Spurs won the 2025 Europa League final, and admitted he kept pestering crew members for score updates.

Ed Sheeran bought a 1.4% stake in Ipswich Town in August 2024, calling it "any football fan's dream." He was even ceremonially handed the No. 17 shirt, matching his date of birth.
Ipswich were promoted back to the top flight for the 2026/27 season and the Shape of You hitmaker will be hoping the East Anglian side can stick around for more than a season.

Noel Gallagher: Manchester City
Noel Gallagher has said he "was into City before I was into music," and co-designed PUMA's "Definitely City" kit to mark 30 years since Oasis's Definitely Maybe. He's also become Pep Guardiola's go-to interviewer, right up to Guardiola's emotional farewell at the end of 2025/26.
