The Cheapest Premier League 2026/27 Resale Tickets

Everything about the Premier League screams expensive.
The season ticket prices. How much it costs to see champions Arsenal.
The wages. The transfer fees.
In fact, many of these costs seem to go up every year. Some of this summer's transfer fees are eye-watering.
Morgan Rogers is a fine player. Is he worth £117 million?
Time will tell.
Chelsea are paying Morgan Rogers £150,000 per week. This seems excessive, but not if Rogers bags Chelsea plenty of goals and assists.

Premier League 2026/27 Ticket Prices: A Full-Season Overview
We looked at every one of the 380 Premier League fixtures for 2026/27, from the opening weekend in August through to the final day next May. Across the entire dataset, the average starting price for a resale ticket is £157, while the average resale price across all listings sits at £617.
That gap between starting and average price is a running theme throughout the season. A club's cheapest available seat rarely tells the whole story of what most fans end up paying.
At the very top end, Coventry City's home game against Tottenham Hotspur next May carries the highest average resale price of any fixture in the whole dataset, at well over £5,000. At the other end sits Sunderland vs Fulham, the cheapest single ticket of the season at just £34.
(In the specific case of Coventry vs Spurs, this is very likely due to the resale market catching up to the promoted sides.)
That enormous spread, from £34 to five figures for the same league, shows just how much fixture choice and timing matters if you're planning to watch the Premier League on a budget.

The 20 Cheapest Premier League Games of 2026/27
Ranking every fixture by its starting price throws up some familiar names again and again. Two clubs in particular dominate the list of bargain tickets this season.
Fulham supply six of the 20 cheapest games at Craven Cottage, while Manchester City account for five more at the Etihad. Between them, that's more than half the whole list.
How Fulham fare under Alvaro Arbeloa is one of the fascinating sub-plots of the new season. Whilst Manchester City providing Premier League ticket bargains is really nothing new. Despite their recent trophy hauls, they just don't have the fanbase of other big clubs.

Sunderland's meeting with Fulham on 30 August is comfortably the cheapest ticket of the entire season, and a great early opportunity to catch two well-run Premier League sides.
Manchester City vs Coventry City FC is another standout. A reigning heavyweight hosting a newly promoted side for under £50 is rare value anywhere in the top flight.
Worth noting: a low starting price doesn't always mean a cheap ticket overall. Fulham vs Ipswich Town in May starts from just £66, but its average resale price is over £500 once you look past the very cheapest seats.
This shows the advantage of SeatPick. Our aim is to source you with the best and cheapest options for tickets, whether it be the Premier League, La Liga or your favourite artist.

The 5 Cheapest Premier League Teams to Watch in 2026/27
Individual bargain fixtures are one thing, but which clubs are the cheapest to follow across a whole season? We averaged the starting price across all 19 home league games for every club to find out.
| Team | Avg Starting Price (£) | Cheapest Home Fixture |
|---|---|---|
| Aston Villa | £82 | vs Brentford (10 Oct, £62) |
| Sunderland | £85 | vs Fulham (30 Aug, £34) |
| Fulham | £87 | vs Nottingham Forest (10 Feb, £44) |
| Crystal Palace | £87 | vs Ipswich Town (12 Sep, £55) |
| Manchester City | £89 | vs AFC Bournemouth (23 Aug, £41) |
Aston Villa have the cheapest average starting price of any Premier League club this season, at just £82 across their 19 home league games. Sunderland are close behind at £85, with Fulham a fraction higher at £87.
Crystal Palace and Manchester City complete the top five, both starting from an average of £87 to £89 a ticket despite being very different propositions on a matchday.
It's a reminder that transfer spending and matchday cost don't always move together. Villa's transfer window is not yet done, with some big names leaving and cash to spend, so their ticket prices may alter in the coming weeks. Manchester City meanwhile, remain cheap to get into despite fielding some of the best players in the world.
Why Premier League Ticket Prices Change Across the 2026/27 Season
Fixture and club choice aren't the only factors at play. Timing matters just as much if you're chasing value.
Prices rise steadily as the season progresses. August is the cheapest month to watch the Premier League, with an average resale price of £463, while May is by far the most expensive, averaging over £1,053.
| Month | Avg Starting Price (£) | Avg Resale Price (£) |
|---|---|---|
| August 2026 | £98 | £463 |
| October 2026 | £148 | £523 |
| January 2027 | £147 | £624 |
| May 2027 | £225 | £1,053 |
That's no surprise once you think about what's usually riding on the closing weeks. Title races, European qualification and relegation battles all come to a head, and grounds fill up as fans scramble for a seat before the season ends.
Day of the week matters too. Saturday is by far the most common Premier League matchday, but Sunday fixtures carry the highest average price of the week, typically reserved for the biggest, most heavily broadcast games.
Midweek football offers better value. Wednesday fixtures average noticeably less than weekend games, since these slots are usually filled by less glamorous pairings or rearranged matches.
Due to work and school commitments, midweek football can also be harder for many fans to attend.
Stadium supply plays a part as well, but it isn't the whole picture. AFC Bournemouth have the smallest ground in the league and it shows, with some of the highest average resale prices of any club all season.
Compare that with Manchester City, who have vast numbers of tickets listed across the season yet still rank among the cheapest clubs to watch. A big stadium only keeps prices down if demand doesn't outstrip the extra seats on offer.
Nottingham Forest show the opposite problem. Limited ticket supply at the City Ground, combined with a loyal fanbase, pushes their average resale price to one of the highest in the entire division.
