The draw for the Fourth Round of the FA Cup took place minutes before Manchester United’s 2-0 victory over Wigan Athletic on Monday night.
Eighteen Premier League teams were involved in the draw, with each of them hoping to emulate Manchester City’s success in the competition last season.
There were some standout matches drawn for the weekend of January 27-28th. On SeatPick, you can already find tickets for three of the four matches listed below.
Chelsea vs Aston Villa
Aston Villa have performed well above expectations so far this season, and currently sit second in the Premier League table, three points behind league leaders Liverpool.
Unai Emery’s side beat Middlebrough 1-0 in the Third Round and stand a good chance of progressing past Chelsea when they visit Stamford Bridge. Villa waited 12 years to secure a victory in West London, but beat Chelsea twice at the Bridge in 2023.
While Aston Villa are riding high, Chelsea FC continue to struggle under manager Mauricio Pochettino. The Blues produced an impressive second-half display to beat Preston North End 4-0 in the Third Round, but their performances in the Premier League have been sub-par.
Tickets start from £65 on SeatPick for the upcoming Chelsea vs Aston Villa clash.
Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City
Spurs v Manchester City is undoubtedly the match of the FA Cup Fourth Round. Their last four meetings have averaged 4.5 goals a match, and you can expect more of the same when Ange Postecoglou and Pep Guardiola next meet.
Tottenham Hotspur currently sit one point behind Man City in the Premier League table, sharing the spoils in a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Etihad Stadium earlier this season.
The two teams last met in the FA Cup back in 2004. Their Fourth Round fixture went to a replay and Spurs looked destined to progress after going 3-0 up at White Hart Lane before half-time. Man City somehow clawed their way back into the game and claimed a 4-3 win thanks to a 90th minute Jon Macken winner.
Expect plenty of goals and heaps of fun when Tottenham and Manchester City meet in the FA Cup Fourth Round. On SeatPick, you can browse tickets starting from £81 for this match.
Newport County or Eastleigh vs Manchester United
Could a giant killing be on the cards when Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United face off against lower-league opposition in the FA Cup Fourth Round?
On Saturday, 10-man Eastleigh fought back from a goal down to secure a 1-1 draw away at Newport County. If Eastleigh FC beat Newport County in the replay, it will be their first-ever appearance in the FA Cup Fourth Round.
Newport County play in League Two and their stadium, Rodney Parade, can seat no more than 7,850 fans. Meanwhile, Eastleigh FC play in the national league and their Silverlake Stadium can welcome up to 5,500 supporters.
The Red Devils have struggled to find form this season, but did comfortably beat Wigan Athletic 2-0 in the Third Round of the FA Cup.
Fulham vs Newcastle United
Two Premier League teams desperate for silverware are set to meet at Craven Cottage in the FA Cup Fourth Round. Newly-rich Newcastle United haven’t won a major trophy since 1955, while Fulham FC is a side that has famously won zero major honours in its 145-year history.
The Magpies are unbeaten against Fulham since 2017 and Eddie Howe’s side will be confident of securing their spot in the Fifth Round. They met in December at St James’ Park and Newcastle ran out 3-0 winners thanks to goals from Lewis Miley, Miguel Almiron, and Dan Burn.
Fulham vs Newcastle United FA Cup tickets are currently available on SeatPick, with prices starting at £95.
