There are plenty of footballers to have featured for both Celtic and Livingston. Perhaps the most famous was Paul Lambert. The Scottish midfielder joined the Bhoys from Borussia Dortmund in 1997 and spent eight successful years at Celtic Park. In June 2005, he hung up his boots and was appointed manager of Livingston. Yet, due to injury problems, he made seven Scottish Premiership appearances at Livi before being sacked in February 2006 after winning only two league matches.
