The MHPArena has had several different names but it has remained the home of VFB Stuttgart since 1933.
The stadium can host in excess of 60,000 spectators for league matches, but the capacity was limited to 54,000 for games at the Euro 2024 finals in Germany.
The MHPArena was originally called the "Adolf-Hitler-Kampfbahn" when it opened in 1933, but was renamed after World War II. The stadium has been subject to several renovations over the years, including significant developments ahead of the Euro 2024 tournament.
The venue, which hosted two European Cup finals in 1959 & 1988, was known as the Mercedes-Benz Arena from 2008-2023. In July 2023, it was renamed to the MHPArena.
The MHPArena, renamed temporarily as the Stuttgart Arena for sponsorship reasons, was one of ten stadiums in Germany chosen to host fixtures at Euro 2024.
The ground hosted four games during the Euro 2024 group stage, including one match featuring hosts Germany, as well as a quarter-final tie.
