Wales History in the UEFA Nations League
Wales have enjoyed mixed fortunes in the short history of this tournament. The Dragons spent the first two editions of the UEFA Nations League playing in League B, the second-highest level, and earned promotion to League A in 2021.
The men in red didn't fare well against stronger opposition, and subsequently dropped back down to League B at the end of the 2022/23 Nations League campaign.
Wales's Top Achievements In the UEFA Nations League
The 2020/21 UEFA Nations League was a successful campaign for Wales, winning five out of six games in Group B4 and clinching promotion to League A. The Dragons won all three of their home matches at Cardiff City Stadium, in addition to victories away at Bulgaria and Finland.
The 2022/23 Nations League was a humbling experience for Wales, as Rob Page's side ended winless and bottom of Group A4 which also comprised of Belgium, Poland, and the Netherlands.
