Sam Fender 2027 Tour: How Much Are Tickets for Wembley, St James' Park & the Etihad?

In 2026, we have heard a lot from major artists publicly calling out how tickets are sold for their concerts.

Raye was very public in discussing the bots converging on her pre-sale for the Royal Albert Hall.

Liam Gallagher was active on social media as tickets for the Oasis tour next summer sold out.

Zara Larsson is another singer to agree with her fans that tickets are too expensive.

Sam Fender: "Costs are astronomical"

Sam Fender is the latest high-profile musician to question the ticket prices for his Proper Massive Stadium Tour.

The 32-year-old posted on Instagram that he was "not happy" with the reported prices and "costs are astronomical compared to two years ago, I can't control the venue and ticketing fees, that's a sad reality of today's industry."

On the ticket prices, Fender added: "They're getting changed… It got inflated well more than I'd had in mind, it should only be inflated in relation to the cost of putting the show on."

Fender then confirmed on Instagram: "I've managed to get front standing tickets removed from the UK stadium tour. Whoever buys a standing ticket gets as much chance as anyone to be at the front. No more 120 quid standing tickets either."

Sam Fender 2027 Ticket Prices: Key Takeaways

  • Official standing tickets for the Proper Massive Stadium Tour are £85, with seats at £95, £75 and £55.
  • Those prices exclude venue and ticketing fees, plus a £1 per ticket contribution to the LIVE Trust.
  • Front standing has been scrapped after Fender called out leaked prices of up to £130.75 at Wembley.
  • The album pre-order presale opens at 9:30am on Wednesday, October 28, with general sale at 9:30am on Friday, October 30.
  • Early resale listings on SeatPick start from £187 for Cardiff, so face value is by far the cheapest way in if you can get it.

How Much Are Official Sam Fender Tickets?

As a result of his Instagram posts, Fender ended up confirming that general admission standing would be £85.

Seated tickets for Sam Fender concerts are now expected to cost £95, £75 and £55, but those prices excluded venue and ticket company fees and the £1 ticket contribution to LIVE Trust, which supports grassroots venues, he said.

The change came only a day after a leak suggested a very different price list. That version split the Wembley pitch into front standing at £130.75 and general standing at £98.85, with seats running from £64.75 to £130.75.

The leak also had standing at St James' Park at £98.60, with seats from £86.50 to £112.90. Front standing areas of around £120 to £130 were reportedly planned for Cardiff, Edinburgh and Manchester too.

Ticket Type Leaked Wembley Price Confirmed Price (Before Fees)
Front Standing £130.75 Scrapped
General Standing £98.85 £85
Seated £64.75 to £130.75 £55, £75 or £95

Sam Fender 2027 Prices vs His 2025 Stadium Tour

For his 2025 stadium shows, which included three nights at St James' Park, standing tickets were reported at £83.70 and seats at £61.70 to £100.20.

That means standing is up by just £1.30 on two years ago. The seated range has actually come down slightly at both ends, with the cheapest seat £6.70 less than in 2025.

The bigger saving is for anyone who wanted to be right at the barrier. Under the leaked plan, that spot would have cost £45.75 more than the £85 standing ticket at Wembley.

What Sam Fender Resale Prices Tell Us About Each Stadium

Cardiff is currently the cheapest way to see Fender in 2027, with listings from £187 at the Principality Stadium. It is the only Welsh date on the tour, and the only night in June outside Newcastle and London.

Back home in Newcastle, both nights at St James' Park start at around £200. This is his third run of stadium shows at the home of Newcastle United, after sell-outs in 2023 and 2025, and the St James' Park seating plan is worth checking before you pick a block.

The two Newcastle nights have 184 listings between them, less than a quarter of the number for Wembley. That fits with a home crowd that tends to hang on to its tickets.

Wembley, the biggest headline shows of his career, is where the market is busiest. More than half of all Sam Fender listings on SeatPick are for the two London nights.

The Friday night carries a premium, with an average price of £416 against £375 for the Sunday. The most expensive single listing on the tour is also for June 18, at £1,738, so check the Wembley Stadium seating plan to see what you're getting at each price point.

Manchester has the highest starting prices of any UK venue, at £237 to £238 for the two nights at the Etihad. The Saturday finale on July 17 has 162 listings, more than double the 68 for the Thursday.

Whether you go on a weeknight or a weekend makes very little difference to the cheapest ticket. The Thursday and Saturday shows in both Newcastle and Manchester are within £1 of each other.

Edinburgh's Murrayfield date starts at £221, matching the Sunday at Wembley. It is the only Scottish show on the tour, so the Murrayfield seating plan is worth a look for fans travelling from across Scotland.

Dublin is the outlier, with only 10 listings for Marlay Park, all at around £282. It is also the one date without Wunderhorse as special guests.

Sam Fender 2027: Average Ticket Prices by Venue

Starting prices only tell part of the story. Here's the average price of a listing for each night on SeatPick, correct as of October 26, 2026. Prices will change.

Date Venue Average Price
Thursday, June 3 St James' Park, Newcastle £330
Saturday, June 5 St James' Park, Newcastle £334
Thursday, June 10 Principality Stadium, Cardiff £312
Friday, June 18 Wembley Stadium, London £416
Sunday, June 20 Wembley Stadium, London £375
Thursday, July 1 Marlay Park, Dublin £283
Thursday, July 8 Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh £361
Thursday, July 15 Etihad Stadium, Manchester £339
Saturday, July 17 Etihad Stadium, Manchester £344

Cardiff again comes out as the best value, with an average of £312. Wembley's Friday night is the most expensive on average by some distance, which says a lot about how big a moment those London shows are for Fender and his fans.

If you're heading to Manchester, the Etihad Stadium seating plan shows where each tier sits. Fans going to Cardiff can do the same with the Principality Stadium seating plan.
