St James’ Park, Newcastle: 3 and 5 June

Naturally, the tour opens at the home of Newcastle United. Fender played two nights there in 2023 and three more in June 2025, which saw him pass The Rolling Stones for the most headline shows at the 52,000-capacity ground.

These two dates take his St James’ total to seven. Demand will be fierce: in 2024, tickets for his Newcastle arena date were so sought after that they went to a ballot for North East residents, so check the St James’ Park seating plan now and know where you want to be before the presale opens.

Principality Stadium, Cardiff: 10 June

Cardiff is arguably the biggest win for fans on this tour. The People Watching tour didn’t include a single date in Wales, so this is a long-awaited stadium night for Welsh fans who have had to travel to see him.

Wembley Stadium, London: 18 and 20 June

Wembley is the centrepiece of the tour, and Fender has gone for two nights rather than one. At around 90,000 capacity, each one will comfortably be the biggest headline show he has ever played.

His previous London peak was the 82,500 crowd at London Stadium on 6 June 2025, a night later released as the YouTube concert film Live at London Stadium.

Marlay Park, Dublin: 1 July

When the teaser dropped, most fans had the Irish beacon down as Malahide Castle, but the official listing confirms Marlay Park. It means a big outdoor summer show in Dublin, the city where the People Watching tour began at the 3Arena on 2 December 2024.

Two days later, Fender headlines Rock Werchter in Belgium, his first headline slot at a European festival.

Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh: 8 July

Scottish fans last saw Fender headline outdoors at Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Showground in August 2025. Before that, his December 2024 run included the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, where a second night was cancelled due to vocal cord damage, so Murrayfield is a chance to make up for lost time.

Etihad Stadium, Manchester: 15 and 17 July

Fender’s Manchester shows have grown at every stop, from two nights at Co-op Live in December 2024 to around 30,000 fans at Wythenshawe Park in August 2025. Two Etihad nights to close the tour is the next logical step.

It’s a busy summer at the stadium. As we covered in our guide to the Oasis 2027 Etihad Stadium residency, the Gallaghers have 11 nights booked there in June 2027, with Fender following in July.

How the Sam Fender 2027 Tour Was Announced

The first clue came at St James’ Park on Saturday 17 October, during Newcastle United vs Aston Villa. Messages reading “Proper Massive SF 27” appeared pitchside and on the big screen during Newcastle’s 1-0 defeat.

Two days later, a Lord of the Rings-inspired teaser titled “The Beacons Are Lit!” landed on Fender’s socials. It shows bandmates Dean Thompson, Joe Atkinson and saxophonist Johnny Blue Hat squabbling over who gets to light the beacons, before flames burst from stadiums around the country.

The full dates followed, confirming nine stadium and outdoor shows. His website now carries the Proper Massive Stadium Tour ’27 branding, along with the presale details below.

Why the Sam Fender 2027 Tour Is His Biggest Yet

The jump to stadiums in every city is no accident. Since the last tour wrapped in Perth in November 2025, Fender’s profile has gone through the roof without him releasing a new album.

First came the 2025 Mercury Prize for People Watching, collected in front of a home crowd at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena in October 2025. The album also earned comparisons to Bruce Springsteen, thanks to its heartland rock sound and stories of working-class life in the North East.

Then came “Rein Me In”, his duet with Olivia Dean. Released in June 2025 and first charting at number 86, it slowly climbed to number one in February 2026 and has since become the longest-running number one in UK chart history, with 23 non-consecutive weeks at the top.

Fender has also picked up Song of the Year at the 2026 BRIT Awards and Songwriter of the Year at the Ivor Novellos. The tour arrives alongside his fourth album, which he is calling SF4 for now, with more album news promised soon.

How Much Are Sam Fender 2027 Tour Tickets?

Official face-value prices for the 2027 tour haven’t been published yet. They are expected to be revealed when the presale opens on 28 October, and we’ll update this guide as soon as they are.

The best guide for now is what Fender charged last time round. For his 2025 stadium shows, standing was £83.70 and seats ranged from £61.70 to £100.20.

Ticket Type Tour + Venue Face Value (£)
SeatedSt James’ Park and London Stadium, 2025£61.70 to £100.20
StandingSt James’ Park and London Stadium, 2025£83.70
SeatedPeople Watching UK arena tour, Dec 2024£65.87 to £88.37
Millennium hospitalitySt James’ Park, June 2025£264
Shields executive boxSt James’ Park, June 2025£324
St James’ Package hospitalitySt James’ Park, June 2025£510

Our read is that 2027 general admission prices will rise, but probably not dramatically. Fender has previously added a £1 charity levy to UK tickets, raising over £100,000 for the Music Venue Trust, and he has kept stadium prices close to his arena prices before.

Hospitality is where the bigger prices will sit. If Wembley and the Etihad follow the St James’ model, premium packages from around £250 to £500 per person look realistic.

Sam Fender 2027 Tickets on SeatPick: Early Prices

Early listings have already started to appear on SeatPick ahead of general sale. Cardiff is currently the cheapest date on the tour, while the second Wembley night has by far the most tickets listed.

Date Event + Venue Starting Price (£)
Thu 10 June 2027Sam Fender, Principality Stadium£187
Sun 20 June 2027Sam Fender, Wembley Stadium£220
Thu 15 July 2027Sam Fender, Etihad Stadium£261
Sat 17 July 2027Sam Fender, Etihad Stadium£261
Sat 5 June 2027Sam Fender, St James’ Park£282

True to form, the hometown show is the priciest. The Saturday at St James’ Park starts at £282 with an average of £335, while the Sunday at Wembley averages £406, with 141 tickets already listed for that night alone.

Listings for the opening Newcastle night, the first Wembley date, Marlay Park and Murrayfield should appear once general sale opens. Hospitality is also starting to surface, with packages currently from £1,341.

Bear in mind that these are early resale prices before a single face-value ticket has been sold. Prices usually settle once general sale opens and supply picks up, so it can pay to keep checking.

How to Get Sam Fender 2027 Tour Tickets

The main route in is the album presale. Pre-order his fourth album from the official Sam Fender store before 9am on Monday 26 October, and a unique presale code and link will be emailed by 8pm on Tuesday 27 October (check your spam folder).

The presale opens at 9:30am on Wednesday 28 October, with a maximum of six tickets per person. Entry doesn’t guarantee tickets, so have a backup plan for general sale at 9:30am on Friday 30 October via Ticketmaster.

Murrayfield has an extra route, too. Scottish Rugby says Scotland Supporters Club Plus members get presale access on Thursday 29 October.

If you miss out on the day, SeatPick pulls listings from a range of vetted resale sites into one place, so you can compare every Sam Fender date side by side. Always check the ticket terms for each show, as Fender’s promoters have previously restricted resale to official face-value platforms for some dates.

Sam Fender 2027 Tour Support Acts: Wunderhorse and Beyond

Wunderhorse are confirmed as support on every UK stadium date, but they aren’t listed for Marlay Park or Rock Werchter. No Dublin support act has been named yet.

Fender’s recent stadium shows give a good idea of who else could turn up. CMAT opened at all three St James’ Park nights in 2025, while The War On Drugs joined him on the summer stadium run.

Olivia Dean also supported at London Stadium and two of the Newcastle nights, joining Fender on stage for “Rein Me In” in London. With that song now a record-breaker, a Wembley reunion would be one of the moments of the summer.
