FC Copenhagen vs Manchester City History

FC Copenhagen don’t have a fortune of fond memories in terms of success on a continental scale. The Danish outfit reached the Second Round (last-eight) of the Champions League in 1993/94 but lost to eventual champions AC Milan, 7-0 on aggregate.

17 years later, Copenhagen made a long-awaited return to the Champions League knockout phase, but ultimately fell to Chelsea in the Round of 16.
