Griff Biography

Sarah Faith Griffiths, aka Griff, was born in January 2001 in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, England. By the age of 19, she was already signing with a major label, Warner Records. Her debut single, Mirror Talk, followed the same year and was featured on her first EP of the same name.

Her 2020 single, Love Is a Compass, became her first UK chart hit, and her Mixtape release, One Foot In Front of the Other (which included the singles Black Hole, Walk and Shade of Yellow), reached number four in the UK and earned rave reviews. Her 2020 single proved her most popular to date, and Griff stated that the subject of the song was missing the children who had joined her family as part of their fostering efforts.

In March of 2021, Hailee Steinfeld released I Love You's, co-written by Griff, and the track went on to chart well in the US and both Australia and New Zealand.
