Club World Cup Group Stage Info
The upcoming FIFA Club World Cup kicks off on 13 June, 2025 with an expanded pool of 32 teams. The increase in competing clubs means the tournament has a new format, starting with a group stage.
There will be eight groups of four teams, with the top two in each group progressing to the knockout stages. Groups cannot have more than one team from the same confederation, with the exception of Europe which will have 12 representatives at the 2025 Club World Cup.
The 32 teams comprise of recent champions of the premier club competition in each of the six international confederations, in addition to others who qualify via the ranking pathway.
