Olympique de Marseille have plenty of experience of playing in the UEFA Cup/Europa League over the years, and they have amassed more than 100 appearances in the competition.
In all the appearances they have made in the competition, Les Olympiens have managed to reach the grand final on three different occasions. Unfortunately, they've had to settle for a runners-up spot in each Europa League final that they have played in, losing to Parma, Valencia, and Atletico Madrid in 1998/99, 2003/04 and 2017/18.
