Barak Tickets

Barak, the Christian worship group from Santo Domingo, takes its name from the Hebrew word for "lightning," and its music has crackled across Latin America since the early 2010s.

Led by vocalist Robert Green, the group combines passionate, high-energy worship with arena-ready production, drawing audiences who come to sing as much as to listen.

Their records get regular radio play in the Dominican Republic, Panama, Argentina, Costa Rica, and Venezuela.

What to Expect from a Barak Concert?

A Barak night is part worship service and part rock concert, with soaring choruses, live band energy, and a crowd that sings and prays along.

The setting moves between full-throttle praise and quieter moments of reflection, led by Robert Green's emotional, powerful vocals.

Audiences often include families and church groups, so the mood is celebratory and welcoming.

The group's Spanish-language lyrics keep the focus on faith, hope, and adoration, and many songs are written to be sung by an entire room.

Barak's Biography

Barak formed in Santo Domingo in 2009, led by lead vocalist Robert Green, the son of pastor parents.

Musical director Angelo Frilop and vocalist and bassist Janiel Ponciano helped shape the group's sound from the beginning.

Their first studio album, Mi Gran Amor, arrived in 2010 and became a hit across Latin America.

In 2017 the group earned a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Spanish Christian Album for Generación Radical, which also reached number seven on Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart.

Their message of "extreme adoration to the Lord," as they put it on their website, has remained constant through every release.

Barak's Albums & Projects

After Mi Gran Amor, the group released Generación Sedienta in 2014, Lógica de Otro Mundo in 2015, and Generación Radical in 2016.

The live album Shekinah followed in 2019, and Fuego y Poder arrived in 2022.

Their output includes both studio albums and live recordings, and they continue to release singles and live performances.
