Spain vs France – Tuesday, 9 July

The first semi-final pits Spain up against France at the Allianz Arena (Munich Football Arena).

Spain defeated hosts Germany, 2-1, in what was an entertaining matchup in Stuttgart. Elsewhere France knocked out Portugal, on penalties, following a goalless draw at the Volksparkstadion.

Spain & France have clashed several times at the UEFA European Championship, notably in the final of the 1984 event; Michel Platini & Bruno Bellone were on target in a 2-0 triumph for the French on home soil.

The nations met again in the Euro 2000 quarter-finals as Zinedine Zidane opened the scoring in a 2-1 win for Les Bleus. More recently they went head-to-head in the Euro 2012 quarter-finals. On this occasion the Spanish ran out 2-0 winners on their way to clinching back-to-back Euro titles.

Spain vs France tickets are starting from £299* via SeatPick, making this semi-final considerably cheaper than the corresponding tie. We have more than 12,500 listings to browse & compare, with an average price of £518*.

Netherlands vs England – Wednesday, 10 July

In the second semi-final, England will lock horns with the Netherlands at Signal Iduna Park (BVB Stadion Dortmund).

The Dutch came from behind to earn a 2-1 victory over Turkey at the Olympiastadion. England, meanwhile, edged Switzerland in a penalty shoot-out to advance to the last-four at successive Euro tournaments for the first time ever.

When the Netherlands faced England in the Euro 1988 group stage, Marco van Basten netted a hat-trick for Ons Oranje to win 3-1 on route to their maiden European title.

The teams were grouped together again in 1996, when England hosted the competition, and they shared a pitch at Wembley Stadium. Alan Shearer & Teddy Sheringham netted twice apiece in a memorable 4-1 victory for the Three Lions, who would go on to lose in the semi-finals.
