England’s late dramatic win over Netherlands in the Euro 2024 semi-finals saw interest in tickets for the Berlin final spike dramatically in the lead-up to Sunday’s showdown.
The Three Lions reached their third major tournament final, and second under Gareth Southgate, but could not find their way past Spain. The 2-1 final defeat was heartbreak for England, but many of the players emerged with a huge amount of credit.
With just weeks to go until the 2024/2025 season, all eyes will be on the upcoming club campaign to see the likes of Kobbie Mainoo, Bukayo Saka, Cole Palmer, Jude Bellingham and Ollie Watkins.
Kobbie Mainoo at Manchester United
Undoubtedly one of the emerging stars of the England campaign at Euro 2024 has been Kobbie Mainoo. The diminutive Manchester United midfielder had already made a name for himself for the Red Devils this past season, but has now become one of the most famous Three Lions stars.
Manchester United’s first big game of the season comes at Wembley Stadium on August 10, 2024, as they take on cross-town rivals Manchester City in the Community Shield. Tickets are available from £80 for the season curtain raiser.
Erik Ten Hag’s side also kick off the new Premier League season with a home match versus Fulham on August 16. Prices for this game start at £76. Manchester United are also taking part in the Europa League this year with Mainoo and co. keen to make a dent in Europe’s second biggest club competition.
Bukayo Saka & Declan Rice at Arsenal
Two England mainstays of Gareth Southgate’s side are Arsenal right winger Bukayo Saka and central midfielder Declan Rice. Both acquitted themselves extremely well in Germany with Saka claiming an all-important equaliser versus Switzerland.
Arsenal will once again be challenging Manchester City for the Premier League title this coming campaign and tickets to watch the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium are always in big demand.
With prices set to be high to watch Mikel Arteta’s team in league action, there are two pre-season friendlies at the Emirates, against Bayer Leverkusen (August 7) and Lyon in the Emirates Cup (August 11) which already look good very value and should include both Saka and Rice as they prepare for the new campaign.
Cole Palmer at Chelsea
For much of Euro 2024, England fans have been wondering why Chelsea star Cole Palmer hasn’t played more in Germany, after a stellar first campaign at Stamford Bridge. Palmer laid on the winner for Ollie Watkins against Netherlands and then scored the equaliser just after coming on in the Euro 2024 final.
Chelsea are under new management with Enzo Maresca taking over from Mauricio Pochettino and demand for tickets to see the Blues is always high, even if the last few seasons have not been as successful as the Roman Abramovich years.
Maresca’s first game in charge in the Premier League is the stand-out fixture of Gameweek 1 as Chelsea host Manchester City. Tickets are available on SeatPick for this match from £245. The Blues are also playing in the Conference League this season and are favourites to go deep in the competition.
Jude Bellingham at Real Madrid
Bellingham enjoyed a fantastic first season at Real Madrid and further confirmed his status on the world stage with a brilliant dramatic late bicycle kick equaliser against Slovakia.
At SeatPick, we also cover all your ticketing needs for the biggest leagues in Europe, which of course includes Real Madrid. Bellingham and his Los Blancos team mates have a chance to win an early trophy when they face Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup on August 14, 2024. Tickets for this showdown start from £371.
There is no bigger highlight in the La Liga season than El Clasico. Real Madrid host Barcelona on Sunday October 27 at the Santiago Bernabeu with ticket prices starting at £469.
Ollie Watkins at Aston Villa
Ollie Watkins was introduced to the Euro 2024 semi-final with 81 minutes played, 10 minutes later the former Brentford striker lashed England into the Euro 2024 final.
Watkins enjoyed a stellar campaign with Aston Villa, who now return to playing Champions League football under Unai Emery, having won the European Cup in 1982. SeatPick will have tickets for all of Aston Villa’s games as they return to the top table of European football.
Villa’s first Premier League home game of the season is a cracker, with a clash against Arsenal on August 24, 2024. SeatPick has tickets available for Aston Villa vs Arsenal starting at £91.
