The Final Five Carabao Cup Matches: How to Buy Tickets

The festive period has come and gone but there’s still plenty of drama to come in the 2023/24 season. The Carabao Cup final is only weeks away and Liverpool, Chelsea, Fulham and Middlesbrough are preparing to battle it out in the semi-finals of the competition.

Wembley is set to host the Carabao Cup final on Sunday February 25th, 2024.

In January, two-legged semi-finals are set to take place as Liverpool and Chelsea aim to participate in a repeat of the 2021/22 Carabao Cup final.

On SeatPick, we’re providing a wide selection of affordable tickets to each of the semi-final encounters. Continue reading to learn more.

Middlesbrough vs Chelsea

Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea side are 10th in the Premier League after a disappointing first half of the season. However, they’ve won three matches on the bounce and beat Championship side Preston 4-0 in the FA Cup on Saturday.

The Blues have gone three years without a trophy and appear destined to miss out on Champions League football again next season. Their supporters are desperate for something to cheer about and a Carabao Cup victory could be a pivotal turning point in Pochettino’s managerial spell at Stamford Bridge.

Meanwhile, Championship side Middlesbrough FC are hoping to repeat their 2003/04 League Cup success, when they famously beat Arsenal’s ‘Invincible’ team in both legs of the semi-final to win 3-1 on aggregate.

Yet, Middlesbrough have lost three of their last four outings, including a 1-0 FA Cup defeat at home to high-flying Aston Villa. Chelsea are far from invincible themselves and young manager Michael Carrick will hope to inspire his team to a memorable victory over the Blues.

On SeatPick, you can find tickets available for Tuesday night’s first leg at the Riverside Stadium for as little as £30.

There are tickets starting from £58 for the second leg at Stamford Bridge on our platform, with the match set to take place on Tuesday January 23.

Liverpool vs Fulham

Liverpool FC are flying-high at the top of the Premier League and Fulham will need to be at their very best to pull off an unlikely shock. Jurgen Klopp’s side have lost only one match in English football in the 2023/24 season thus far, most recently winning 2-0 away at Arsenal in the FA Cup Third Round.

The Reds are the most successful team in the history of the League Cup, winning the competition nine times. However, Liverpool will be without forward Mohamed Salah for both semi-final matches. The Egyptian superstar is set to participate in the AFCON tournament, but will return to the UK before the final in February.

Remarkably, Fulham FC is a club that has never won a major trophy in its 145-year history. Yet, Liverpool would be unwise to underestimate a team that beat Arsenal 2-1 in their most recent Premier League outing.

The Cottagers have beaten Liverpool once in their last 11 encounters, but were minutes away from securing a victory at Anfield in December. Fulham led 3-2 in the 87th minute before goals from Liverpool duo Wataru Endo and Trent Alexander-Arnold turned the match on its head.

Liverpool are set to host Fulham on Wednesday January 10, and there are tickets starting from as little as £40 on the SeatPick platform.

The return leg at Craven Cottage will take place two weeks later on January 24, with ticket prices beginning at £62.

Fulham and Middlesbrough will be hoping to crash the party by causing an upset in the semi-finals.
