Carl Cox Tickets

Nicknamed the "Three-Deck Wizard," Carl Cox has spent more time behind Ibiza's decks than almost anyone alive, building a reputation as one of dance music's most respected and enduring headliners.

His 15-year residency at Space Ibiza remains one of the longest-running and most celebrated club nights in the island's history, ending only when the venue itself closed its doors.

Cox didn't slow down after that, he simply found new rooms to fill, and he's been doing it ever since.

What to Expect from a Carl Cox Concert?

Cox is known for playing three decks at once, a technical signature that's followed him since his earliest years behind the booth.

His sets range across house, techno, and everything adjacent, built around long, patient builds rather than quick, disposable drops.

He remains one of dance music's most vocal advocates for vinyl, and it's not unusual for his sets to include tracks pulled straight from his personal collection.

Whether at a small club or a festival mainstage, expect a set built for stamina, Cox is known for playing marathon, multi-hour sets when the setting allows it.

Carl Cox's Biography

Carl Cox was born in London and got his start at age 15, buying a set of turntables and working as a mobile DJ around the city.

He came up through disco, rare groove, and early hip-hop before Chicago house music reshaped his direction in the mid-1980s, right as acid house began taking hold in the UK.

Cox became a defining figure of the UK's early rave scene, and in 2001 began what would become a legendary 15-year residency at Space Ibiza, known as "Music Is Revolution."

That residency closed in 2016 alongside the venue itself, capping off what's widely considered one of the most successful residencies in Ibiza's clubbing history.

He's since built Intec Digital, his own record label, and continues to headline major club and festival stages worldwide, recently launching a new residency at Ibiza's UNVRS venue.

Carl Cox's Projects and Releases

Rather than building a career around studio albums in the traditional sense, Cox has spent decades releasing music through his own label, Intec Records, founded in 1999 and relaunched as Intec Digital in 2006.

His broadcasted live sets from Space Ibiza, recorded weekly between 2001 and 2016, became some of the most widely circulated DJ mixes in dance music history.

More recently, he's partnered with major label BMG, continuing to release new material alongside his ongoing residency and touring schedule.

Carl Cox's Signature Sets and Where to Hear Them

Longtime fans still talk about his closing set at Space Ibiza's final night, where he played Angie Stone's "Wish I Didn't Miss You" as the venue's last-ever track.

His marathon open-to-close sets have become something of a signature move, particularly during residency opening and closing nights.

Previous Carl Cox Tours and Festival Appearances

Cox has headlined Tomorrowland in Belgium multiple times, one of the many major festival stages that has hosted him across his decades-long career.

He's also been a recurring name at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, alongside countless appearances at Ibiza's biggest clubs, including Privilege, Amnesia, and DC-10.

His current residency schedule keeps him a fixture on the island every summer, with guest lineups drawing some of dance music's biggest names.
