Ian Munsick was born in Sheridan, Wyoming, in May 1993 and was raised on ranches in the state, a lifestyle and experience he draws upon significantly with his musical output. He came from a very musical family, and this stood him in good stead as he pursued the big time.

He performed with his brothers and played in cover bands at high school before moving to Nashville in pursuit of a record deal, which duly arrived in 2020 when he was picked up by Warner Music.

Coyote Cry

In 2021, he released his debut album, Coyote Cry, which performed well and included the hit single Long Haul. This was followed up by a second album, released in 2023, White Buffalo. That release included the crowd favourite, Long Live Cowgirls, featuring Cody Johnson.
