Odesza History

Odesza was essentially formed when Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight met at Western Washington University.

They self-released their debut album, Summer's Gone, in 2012, and that laid the groundwork as they were signed to Ninja Tune and released their second album, In Return, in 2014. This proved a big success, breaking into the US Billboard charts.

The album topped the Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart and earned rave reviews. Successful singles from the album include Sun Models, Say My Name (featuring Zyra), All We Need, and It's Only. They proved a big hit in terms of live shows around this time, helping to build the brand and exposure in the project. 2016 also saw the duo secure their first-ever Grammy Award nomination, earning a nod for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical for Say My Name.

2017's A Moment Apart proved a pivotal release. The album reached number three on the US Billboard Album Charts. On that album, they worked with the likes of Leon Bridges, Naomi Wild, Regina Spektor and Mansonair. The album earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album.

In 2020, they teamed up with Australian producer Golden Features to form an electronic trio named Bronson. Their self-titled debut album earned positive reviews, and singles Heart Attack and Vaults were well received.

2022 saw the release of the band's fourth studio album, with Last Goodbye proving another monumental leap. Hits from the album include Better Now (featuring Maro), Love Letter (featuring The Knocks), Wide Awake (featuring Charlie Houston) and Light of Day (featuring Olafur Arnalds).

The release was supported by a 27-date tour, which would end up being released as a live album.
