Albania and Slovenia have met in two previous UEFA European Championship campaigns, both in the qualifying phase.
Ahead of Euro 2000, Slovenia beat Albania both home and away, with national team legend Zlatko Zahovic scoring in both encounters.
The two nations were paired in the same group in the qualifying for Euro 2008, and both clashes ended goalless.
