The final eight teams of the Carabao Cup were decided last week and on Wednesday the games & times were announced for the quarter-finals.
Most countries only have one cup competition but the secondary cup competition in England still proves to be extraordinarily popular. Much like in Scotland where there is enormous hype regarding Celtic vs Rangers in the Scottish League Cup final.
With Manchester City out of the Carabao Cup, there are opportunities for holders Liverpool to take advantage. Alternatively, the likes of Arsenal, Newcastle and Spurs will be desperate to get some domestic silverware under their belts.
Match | Average Price | Starting Price |
Arsenal vs Crystal Palace | £288 | £137 |
Newcastle United vs Brentford | £81 | £61 |
Southampton vs Liverpool | £162 | £79 |
Tottenham vs Manchester United | £172 | £66 |
Arsenal vs Crystal Palace, Wednesday December 18, 2024
The Gunners face Premier League opposition for the first time in the Carabao Cup this season having seen off Bolton and Preston so far.
Young Gunners midfielder Ethan Nwaneri has been the stand-out performer for Arsenal in the Carabao Cup, scoring three goals in two games.
Mikel Arteta will likely play a mix of first team players and youth prospects for this one too.
Crystal Palace have enjoyed some of their best moments this season in the Carabao Cup and will be desperate to get to the semi-finals. The Eagles will have a big away allocation and on SeatPick their fans can search for tickets in the away end.
A London derby, under the lights at the Emirates with plenty to play for, means Arsenal vs Crystal Palace ticket prices start from £135.
Newcastle United vs Brentford, Wednesday December 18, 2024
Two teams starved of trophies will likely play full-strength teams at St James’ Park for a hugely enticing clash.
Newcastle United last won a cup in 1968 (the Inter-Fairs Cup) and a domestic one (the FA Cup) in 1955. There is a huge desire for the Toon Army to see their side win any silverware and this is likely to be their best opportunity this campaign.
Brentford have never won a major domestic cup and will have their work cut out here as the visiting side.
Newcastle proved their class with a win over Chelsea in the last round and showed how solid they can be by following that up with a 1-0 victory over Arsenal in the Premier League.
This game takes place just 11 days after Newcastle and Brentford meet in the Premier League in London.
Ticket prices for this Newcastle United vs Brentford match start at a reasonable-looking £62.

Southampton vs Liverpool, Wednesday December 18, 2024
Liverpool have started the season under Arne Slot in incredible form. Jurgen Klopp has barely been missed.
The Merseyside giants sit atop the Premier League and the Champions League league phase so will be eyeing progression to yet another League Cup final.
Liverpool have won this competition 10 times, most recently in 2022 and 2024, so on history alone Southampton have their work cut out.
The Saints did beat Everton to record their first Premier League win of the season just after they progressed in the Carabao Cup thanks to beating Stoke City at home.
Southampton will hope that home advantage can enable an upset in this one. Tickets to see Southampton vs Liverpool are on average £162 with over 1250 to choose from.
Tottenham vs Manchester United, Thursday December 19, 2024
The Carabao Cup quarter-finals come to an end with a rip-roaring encounter between Spurs and Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United.
Spurs last won the Carabao Cup in 2007 and Ange Postecoglu has promised to bring silverware in his second season.
This though will be a tough test for Postecoglu’s attacking side as Amorim has shown in Portugal with Sporting Lisbon that in one-off games he can stifle even the very best teams.
Tottenham have a busy few days at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as they face Liverpool after this game. But, Spurs should be focused and will be buoyed by the 3-0 win at Old Trafford in September.
Tickets to watch Tottenham vs Manchester United start from £67, which is reasonable to see a blood-and-thunder cup tie between two of the most famous sides in the Premier League.
