Reigning champions Ireland get their title defence underway with a visit to France. Both these teams suffered a narrow quarter-final exit at the recent Rugby World Cup, crashing out to eventual finalists New Zealand and South Africa.
The Irish will, of course, be without Jonny Sexton after their long-serving captain brought an end to his international career last year following his team’s heartbreaking defeat at the World Cup. Les Bleus, meanwhile, must navigate their way without the services of influential skipper Antoine Dupont, who has opted to focus on Sevens rugby for the foreseeable future.
England endured a tournament to forget in 2023, winning just two of their five matches at the Six Nations Championship. Steve Borthwick’s men begin their 2024 campaign with a trip to Italy to face the Azzurri at Stadio Olimpico. Meanwhile, Wales and Scotland are set to meet at the Principality Stadium on 3 February.
The pick of the games in Round 2 sees England host Wales at Twickenham. This should make for a fascinating encounter, particularly if a certain Immanuel Feyi-Waboso features for the home side. The 21-year-old winger was born and raised in Wales, though he recently received a maiden call-up to the England squad.

The Dragons will then head to the Aviva Stadium in Dublin to take on the Six Nations holders on 24 February, followed swiftly by a clash between old enemies Scotland and England at Murrayfield Stadium on the same day.
A fortnight later sees a titanic battle at Twickenham, as England face Ireland. Also in the penultimate round of the 2024 Six Nations Championship, Wales tackle France at the Principality. England then wrap up their Six Nations commitments with a crucial outing to France, at Groupama Stadium.
