Brazil vs Chile Copa America Tournament Record
Brazil were part of the inaugural Copa America in 1916 and won the tournament for the first time in 1919. It would be fair to say that the Brazilian national team had something of a patchy record up until winning the tournament for a third time in 1949, and they then went an astonishing 40 years without success.
