FC Barcelona vs FC Porto Connections

With only 718 miles separating these two iconic cities in the south of Europe, it’s perhaps no surprise that many players have represented both these clubs. Portuguese midfielder Deco won the UEFA Champions League at both Porto and Barcelona.

Legendary goalkeeper Vítor Baía is the only other player who moved directly to Barcelona from Porto, joining in a €6.5m deal in 1996, before returning to Porto on a free transfer two-and-a-half years later.
