Hungary vs Slovenia UEFA Euros Tournament Record
Hungary have qualified for the finals of the UEFA European Championship on four occasions, the first of which came in 1964. At those finals they were beaten by Spain in the Semi-Finals before they then defeated Denmark in the third-place play-off in Barcelona.

Slovenia have managed to make it to the UEFA European Championship finals on just one previous occasion, but they were unfortunate not to make a bigger impact when they did indeed make it to the business end of the competition.
They raced into a 3-0 lead over the Former Republic of Yugoslavia in their opening game, only to see their opponents level things at 3-3. They were also level against the mighty Spain but lost out 2-1 before bringing an end to their campaign with a goalless draw against Norway, a result that effectively ended the tournament for both sides.
