History: Jamaica National Team at Copa America
Jamaica made its debut at the Copa America finals in 2015 and returned the following year for the centenary edition of the tournament. The Reggae Boyz exited from the group stage at both events, having failed to pick up any points from their three group matches on either occasion.
At the 2015 tournament, Jamaica tasted defeat to Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay – all of them by a 1-0 scoreline. At the next edition, they lost out to Mexico, Uruguay and Venezuela.
As they prepare to take to the field at Copa America 2024, the Jamaicans will be determined to record their first win at the competition.
Jamaica also had a tough Copa America 2024, exiting at the group stage after losing all three matches. A 1-0 defeat to Mexico in their opener, a 3-1 reverse against Ecuador in which Michail Antonio bagged Jamaica's first-ever Copa América goal, and a 3-0 loss to Venezuela that ended the Reggae Boyz's tournament with zero points and a -6 goal difference.
