An Innocent Man was released in 1983 and earned much critical acclaim and commercial success. It remained on the US Pop album chart for an astonishing 111 weeks, and the record included his massive 1980s hit, Uptown Girl.

Tell Her About It, the first single released from An Innocent Man earned Joel his second number-one single in the US, but it was Uptown Girl that broadened his mainstream appeal and made him a superstar around the world.

Storm Front

In 1989, Billy Joel released Storm Front, another album that topped the charts around the world and spawned the mega-hit; We Didn't Start the Fire, which scored him another US number-one single and also sold well globally.

River of Dreams

After a four-year break, Billy Joel put out his twelfth studio album, and River Of Dreams once again sold amazingly well and drew glowing reviews from critics. that was followed eight years later by Joel's thirteenth and, to date, final studio album, with Fantasies and Dreams being a more classically geared sound.
