We are around a month away from the Premier League season and compared to last season, there are more tickets than ever available to fans of England’s top flight.
The relegated sides Southampton (St Mary’s Stadium), Leicester (King Power Stadium) and Ipswich (Portman Road) had combined capacities of: 94,318.
They will be replaced by Leeds (Elland Road), Burnley (Turf Moor) and Sunderland (Stadium of Light). The total attendance of the three promoted clubs stands at: 108,509.
Throw in the fact that Everton moved from Goodison Park (39,752) to the Hill-Dickinson Stadium (52,888) and it is clear that there are plenty more seats to watch Premier League football in 2025/2026.
As an aggregator of Premier League tickets, here at SeatPick we have crunched the numbers on the 380 games of the upcoming season and have some Premier League ticket tips for you. Follow this guide to bag yourself some ticket bargains.
Liverpool Are the Most In-Demand Team to Watch in the Premier League
After winning the Premier League in their first season under Arne Slot, the desire to see Liverpool at Anfield is perhaps at its peak.
On SeatPick, where we aggregate all the resale tickets available for the Premier League, the highest average price of all 20 teams, is for Liverpool home games.
Somewhat intriguingly, their opening game of the season, against Bournemouth on August 15, 2025, is currently their cheapest home fixture.
Bargains To Be Found at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium
They may have won the Premier League four seasons in a row between 2021 and 2024 but Manchester City’s home support still dwarfs some of the other famous names in the division.
As a result, plenty of Manchester City games are great value. Since you get to see a side brimming with talent, in a state-of-the-art Etihad Stadium, in a home match that is almost guaranteed goals and excitement.
A ticket for Manchester City’s home clash with Burnley in late September can currently be purchased for just £40.

Avoid Small Grounds With Good Teams
The team with the smallest ground in the Premier League is Bournemouth. The Vitality Stadium holds just 11,464 supporters.
Andoni Iraola guided Bournemouth to a ninth-placed finish in 2024/25. So good were the Cherries that some of the biggest clubs on the planet have come calling for the likes of Dean Huijsen (Real Madrid) and Milos Kerkez (Liverpool).
Bournemouth ticket prices are amongst the highest in the division. This is simply due to supply. If you are desperate to see the Cherries, it is cheapest to watch them away from home, at a bigger stadium.
Bad Team + Big Stadium = Manchester United Bargains
The exact opposite case is at play at Old Trafford. Where Manchester United have the biggest stadium in the division.
Old Trafford can hold 74,310 but these days the Manchester United faithful have been suffering. The Red Devils go into this season with no European football.
Perhaps Ruben Amorim will bring the glory days back to Manchester United but for now, the supply is there for Old Trafford tickets but not quite the demand.
For example, a Manchester United ticket for the home game against Bournemouth in December will set you back just £60.

Midweek Games are Cheaper Than Weekend Matches
Based on the starting price for tickets to see any of the 380 Premier League games, there is no doubt that midweek games are cheaper than weekend matches.
To prove this we compared Gameweek 26, a midweek in February centred around Wednesday, February 11, 2026, with Gameweek 24, on Saturday, January 24, 2026. Whilst the exact dates are not confirmed it is clear the midweek gameweek is significantly cheaper.
The average starting price for the midweek gameweek (26) is £86. But the weekend gameweek (24) average starting price is £156.
There are a number of reasons for this phenomenon. Fans often find it harder to attend games during the week, due to work or school commitments. Big derbies and the very best matches take place on the weekends. Whilst travel demands for away games limit the number of away supporters that can attend midweek matches.
Bargains Can Be Found in London
With six Premier League teams in London and a wide range of choice some real bargains can be found in the capital.
Chief amongst them are West Ham, who fit the Manchester United model of a bad team in a big stadium. The average price for a home fixture to see the Hammers is £84. The fourth lowest in the division.
Fulham are another London side that also have reasonable tickets on offer. This is more down to their fanbase, which is limited compared to most clubs in the division.
One of the top bargains at Craven Cottage this coming season is the game against Wolves on November 1, 2025, with a get-in price of £76.
Teams To target: Crystal Palace, Wolves & Brighton
Another bargain team in London is Crystal Palace. This is partly down to the fact that Crystal Palace have amongst the cheapest season tickets in the division.
The Eagles offer some of the bargains of the Premier League resale market. For example, matches against Wolves and Aston Villa, feature tickets for less than £70.
Other Premier League teams that hit the sweet spot of quite a large capacity and not the largest fanbase are Wolves, Burnley and Brighton, who all provide potential bargains throughout the campaign. It is worth keeping an eye on their fixtures and how the prices fluctuate.
Team to avoid: Nottingham Forest
Nottingham Forest enjoyed a superb season by their standards last time out. Finishing seventh and they were in the race for a Champions League spot until the very last day.
Of all the Premier League clubs, the quantity of tickets for Nottingham Forest is amongst the smallest in the division.
This is due to the fact that two thirds of Nottingham Forest’s City Ground is taken up with season ticket holders. There is also a waiting list to grab a season ticket for the Tricky Trees too.
As a result, Nottingham Forest resale tickets are amongst the priciest in the division.

The May 2026 Premium
There is a clear “May premium” for Premier League ticket prices, especially for matches in the final weeks of the season. This can be seen immediately once the tickets are released.
This May premium is driven by the high stakes of late-season games – such as title races, European qualification, and relegation battles – which increases demand and, consequently, prices.
Another reason is that players or managers may be leaving, adding sentimental value to the ticket prices too.
Bear in mind though that circumstances can change. Last season, Liverpool ran away with the Premier League title, so the final day clash at Anfield with Crystal Palace turned into an expensive affair on the resale market.
Conversely, Arsenal failed to get close to Liverpool and their remaining Premier League games in May 2025 were nowhere near as high as they could have been had the Gunners been close to the title.
