Odsonne Édouard, a product of PSG's youth academy, moved to Celtic Park to kickstart his professional career. He never made a competitive appearance for PSG and ventured to Celtic on loan for the 2017/18 season, before sealing a permanent transfer at the end of a fruitful campaign. Édouard remained at Celtic until 2021 when Crystal Palace secured his services for £14 million.

In 2019, the talented US winger, Timothy Weah, embarked on a loan spell at Celtic from PSG. After his stint in Scotland, Weah joined Lille and, subsequently, made a move to Juventus in 2023.
