Sevilla would later exact revenge on the Gunners, beating Arsene Wenger’s side 3-1 at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium. The Spanish winger came through the Sevilla youth academy before Arsenal FC splashed out £17m for him in 2004. He spent three years in north London and earned himself a move to Real Madrid and then onto Atletico Madrid. Reyes returned to Sevilla in 2012 and won three Europa League titles during his second stint at the club.
