Celtic faced FC Porto in arguably their biggest match since the 1970 European Cup final. The Glaswegian-based club reached the 2002/03 UEFA Cup final, but were beaten 3-2 by Porto in a dramatic encounter. Henrik Larsson scored a brace, but it was not enough for Celtic who succumbed to defeat after Derlei’s 115th minute extra-time winner.
