Hot Mulligan History

Hot Mulligan were formed in 2014 in Lansing, Michigan, and the forward-thinking midwesterners caught the attention of Sleep Records, who signed the band before they released their debut album, Pilot, in 2018.

By this time the band, who had gone through a number of lineup changes, included Chris Freeman, Nathan Sanville, Ryan Malicsi, Brandon Blakeley and Jonah Kramer.

2020 saw the band release their second studio album, You'll Be Fine, earning rave reviews and helping to secure much needed exposure and very much aided the growth of their loyal following. The band left No Sleep Records to join Wax Bodega, who released their third album, Why Would I Watch, in 2023.

That album included the singles Gans Media Retro Games and this came after the release of a number of acoustic-driven EPs.

Hot Mulligan are a great live act who put on a show full of amazing energy, and that's why their shows are among the favorite events of the year, resulting in standing-room-only attendance and sold-out seating areas.
