Rangers FC's Top Achievements In the Champions League
Rangers have played a multitude of matches in the Champions League over the years, although the title has continued to remain just out of reach. The Gers have a decent history to speak of when involved in the tournament, although recent appearances have been rather limited. They took part in the 2022/23 Champions League group stage for the first time in 15 years. However, they lost all six games in a tricky group which featured Liverpool, Napoli, and Ajax.
The Light Blues’ best finish came way back in the 1959/60 edition of the European Cup, as it was known then, when they reached the semi-final. The Ibrox outfit managed to beat the likes of RSC Anderlecht, Red Star Bratislava and Sparta Rotterdam, however they fell short against Eintracht Frankfurt.
