Keane History

Keane were formed in 1995 with key members singer Tom Chaplin and pianist Tim Rice-Oxley being childhood friends, and they developed a strong following before the release of their hugely successful debut album, Hopes and Fears, in 2004.

The album made them the biggest selling British artist for the year and went on to sell almost three million copies in the United Kingdom alone. It spawned a string of hit singles, including fan favourite Somewhere Only We Know, Everybody's Changing and Bedshaped.
