One Direction Tickets

One Direction were first brought to our collective attention when as individuals Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson competed on The X Factor in 2010, failing to progress as part of the "Boys" category of the competition.

The group were then put together with both Nicole Scherzinger and Simon Cowell claiming to have been the brains behind that decision, and the rest, as they say, is history.

In 2011 One Direction released their debut album, Up All Night which went to number one in the United States and number two in the UK charts, selling over four and a half million copies.

They speedily became one of the world's favourite artists, with loyal fans following them wherever they stepped out.

Take Me Home

A year later, they released Take Me Home, another massive success, this time going to the top of the charts in 35 different countries and selling over five million copies.

Singles Little Things, One Way or Another (Teenage Kicks) both went to number one in the UK, the second of which featured on the band's third album Midnight Memories.

Four

Continuing in their prolific style, they released a fourth album a year later, with Four being released in November 2014 to rapturous acclaim by their obsessed fanbase.

Their fifth, and to date final, album Made in the A.M spawned another UK number-one hit, with Drag Me Down proving very successful.

Break Up

By 2015 it became clear that the band was beginning to splinter, and Zayn Malik left, and by 2018 they had folded.

Over the course of a few short years, the band had sold over 70 million records, and there is growing talk of a possible reunion, leading One Direction fans to plead for rumours of a comeback tour to become a reality.

Over the course of their five studio albums and dozens of chart-topping singles, One Direction were an incredible act and one that always impressed the crowd that followed them to the top.
